on the passes it is clearly mentioned that the gates will open up at 3pm but when we reached there at1pm we were informed by staff there that gates will open at 4:30pm while earlier the concert was going to start at 4pm..this was simply not done! but as eager as we were we didn mind..the cowd there was calm...so we roamed around a bit and found out that tere were no arrangements of any type present for refreshments and stuff..so when we came back around 2:45 pm a large crowd had gathered and tickets were still being sold..at the entry there were no security personnels present what so ever and to blame the crowd is not done,they were simply mismanaged..i mean how can there be noone present at the entry of a \M/ETALLICA concert..

this is the entry as you can see no queue and only one guard is there at the right end..and there were two people present checking the tickets and many people went in without having checked there tickets*shocking* and when we entered minimal frisking was done..

As we reached the ground..delighted we ran towards the stage shouting..but people were already present and upto first 25-30 rows were occupied..but still we had an awesome veiw of the stage from where we were standing..and then suddenly everybody was asked to sit down and:/ then after some time crowd standed p resulting in a bit of frenzy...and out of nowhere a barricade fell..mind it!it simply fell not broken..its hinge was loose! then the crowd got calm and next thing we see people have atarted to fix lights,guitar pedals and stuff..it was already 5:45pm by now!
then after some time some people and came and started taking away the instruments...no one understod what happened and then when people heard it had been cancelled..people threw bottles at the stage and you could see many people of the crowd crying! then suddenly barricades were broken and all hell broke loose! this( a you tube video) is what happened!!!
@0:16 is my friend calling out for people..not to break things but to come at the stage and make a point! @0:45 you can see me behind him at the left corner of the stage..and as you can see we were not responsible for any of the damages! we were just simply walking and shouting! and calling for people!...

the first two pics show the view from stage!!!...it was bad..people were smashing and banging lights,amps and speakers..JBL10 ft long speakers were broken and thrown in rage...and then we got on the upper platform to know how i feels..and as you would assume it isn't a complete platform..just 6-7 ft wide..but when you see from t.v's or vid's of concerts it doesn't appear so:P

then me and my friend shouted at the top of our lungs both of our hand up in the air with rock fists..it feels absolutely out of this world to do so in front of a 40k crowd!!!

then as we came down I spotted a high cymbal stand lying and my friend a drummer wanted it
so he snatched it from another guy's hand( who had apparently saw it first:P)...and then i smuggled it out my friends scouting the way for me!

On our way back when we thought what had happened we came to understand that metallica was never to come at the first place recalling the arrangements at the venue...so what we heard of Biffy Clyro at the sound check from outside was because only they were to play..and seeing the mood of the crowd the organizers had cancelled it too...sad day..my eyes were filed with tears on stage..there were people crying..people from Bangladesh, Nepal had came..and from Calcutta,Benras,Mumbai,Sikkim,Mizoram,Manipur had came to watch their metal gods play..and at the time when everybody was supposed to be banging their heads..all we could see was banging equipment..shame!
